Overview of Women’s Ministry
We provide diverse opportunities for women of all ages to connect with other women, study God’s Word, and encourage each other in love as they “do life” together while growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is our desire to help you find a place to study the Word of God and equip you to use the gifts that God has given you to impact your world for Christ. We invite you to journey with us! If there is anything we can do for you and your family, please feel free to contact us.
How to Get Involved
Adult Bible Study Fellowship – Steadfast (Leadership: Linda McGhee and Susan Clifton)
We encourage all of our regular attenders to join an Adult Bible Study Fellowship
class. This is one of the best ways to meet people, grow spiritually, and get involved in the life of the church. Steadfast is a class for women and is designed to help women grow in fellowship with one another while deepening their walks through Bible study, sharing and prayer. During the school year, Steadfast meets each Sunday from 9:30-10:50 a.m. Susan Clifton & Linda McGhee would like to invite all Bethel women to join us on Sundays for the Steadfast Adult Women’s Bible Study. Our classroom is located in the basement under the gym (marked ‘Steadfast’).
Women of the Word
Women of the Word’s aim and desire is to provide a relevant, in-depth study of God’s Word in an atmosphere of fellowship and prayer, understanding that knowing the truth might change your life. This ministry runs throughout the school year and is available at two different time slots each week.
- Wednesday Night – 6:45-8:30 p.m. (Leadership: Vera Flohra and Elaine Haymaker)
- Friday Morning – 9:30-11:30p.m. (Leadership: Martha Jorden)
Women In Christ (Leadership: Connie Allen)
Life is full of twists and turns. Many of us find ourselves in a place or situation that we did not intend. If you need help getting back on track or just need someone who understands what you’re facing, you’ll find it at our Women in Christ ministry nights. Women in Christ meets throughout the school year on the 3rd Monday of the month at 7:15 p.m.
Meals Ministry (Mealtrain Coordinator: Carolyn Toczek)
A meal train is the coordinated giving of meals around significant life events like births, illness or surgery. Help with meals makes life a little easier and allows friends and family to assist during a time of need. If you would like to be involved in the meals ministry at Bethel Community Church please contact us
and type (Meals Ministry
) in the subject line of the email.
Care Givers Ministering Through Sending Cards (Coordinator: Vivian Harwood)
This “Behind the Scenes” ministry allows you to express your gift of care by reaching out to those who need an encouraging word. Please see Vivian Harwood if you are interested in participating.
