Our Junior High (JAM) and High School (Powerhouse) Ministries are safe places for your students to grow in their faith and learn what it means to follow Christ and fellowship with other believers. These ministries meet twice a week, each nigh with different emphasis.
1. Discipleship (On Wednesday nights)
It is our desire to see students grow in their relationship with God. While there are many ways to go about deepening that relationship, we place a strong emphasis on the importance of doing it along side others in a community that promotes and encourages Godly living. Our Wednesday nights are designed to be that community to Junior High and High School students. A typical Wednesday will include a time of Worship, teaching from God’s Word, and small groups. Each of these elements we believe are important for our students as they seek God and strive to live their life for Him.
Wednesday Worship begins at 6:45 PM and ends at 8:30 PM.
2. Outreach (Sunday Evenings)
We believe that Jesus changes lives. The message of His love and forgiveness is something so incredible, that we cannot keep it to ourselves. This is why we do Outreach every Friday. We play games, we have theme nights, we go out and do fun activities, but the most important element of a Sunday night is when we share who Jesus is and how He can change your life. Our students invite their friends out, and the program becomes a helping point for them to reach their friends for Jesus through. These nights are fun and memorable, but shining through all of the games and all of the laughter is the perfect love Jesus has given to us that we hope to show others.
We meet on Sunday from 7:30 PM- 9:30 PM except for occasional nights out noted on the calendar.
JAM & Powerhouse Fall Ministries will begin Wednesday, September 16, 6:45-8:30 pm
Precautions will be taken to ensure the safety and well-being of students while also seeking to meet their spiritual needs in the midst of COVID. Please read this letter from Pastor Mark for more details.
