I grew up in southwest Florida as a preacher’s kid. I have loved leading God’s people in worship since high school. I attended Liberty University for a degree in Biochemistry while continuing to serve as a worship leader in several ministries.
In August 2021, my brother, Charlie, was in the hospital for pneumonia when his wife, Faith, gave birth to their firstborn. I traveled to Tennessee to help them through that difficult time, and there I met Faith’s beautiful friend Rebecca who had also traveled there to help. I asked her out by the end of the week. Charlie came home to his daughter for the first time after spending 77 days in the hospital, and he continues to recover more each day. Rebecca and I got married this July, and we just found out we are having a baby! It is amazing to see the blessings that God could bring out of that difficult time.
Shortly after the wedding, our pastor at the time told us that Bethel Community Church was looking for a new worship leader. When we visited Bethel, we fell in love with the community and passion to worship God that we found at Bethel. I joined the staff this September. We are excited to be a part of God’s plan for Bethel Community Church.
In addition to leading worship at Bethel, I am a Chemistry PhD student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I enjoy football, rock climbing, and deep dish pizza.
