Prazwal Chinnam

Worship & Groups Director

Prazwal Chinnam was born in Tirupati, India, and spent most of his life in Machilipatnam, a town in South India. Raised in a Christian family with a father in pastoral ministry, he came to know Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in 2005. Since then, his life has been shaped by a growing desire to know Christ more deeply and follow Him faithfully. Although he was involved in church ministry from a young age, it was during his college years that he sensed a clear call to full-time ministry.

Prazwal completed a Bachelor of Divinity and served as an associate pastor for four years. During that season, God began directing his heart specifically toward worship ministry. That calling eventually led him to Chicago, where he studied Worship and Media Arts at Moody Bible Institute. During his time at Moody, he gained valuable ministry experience serving in churches, leading worship teams, and growing in his understanding of pastoral ministry, worship leadership, and discipleship.

Prazwal is married to his wife, Samhitha, and together they have a daughter, Aviyah. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, trying new foods, and making memories with friends and family. Prazwal now serves as the Director of Worship and Groups at Bethel Community Church. He is passionate about helping the church worship in a way that is sincere, thoughtful, and centered on the truth of Scripture. He also enjoys building community within the life of the church and helping people grow in spiritual maturity through meaningful relationships, discipleship, and faithful teaching.
